Currently working as a Cardiff based freelance Sound Mixer, Supervisor and for my own Limited Company Elis Griffiths Cyf. Happy to work all over Wales and the UK and Globally. 
 
November 2007 to May 2015
 
Sound Supervisor at Gorilla (gorillagroup.tv); part of Two/Four Group (previously known as Boomerang+) now owned by ITV.
Responsible for all aspects of the live and pre-recorded production sound of Boom Plant output. Sound Supervisor as part of a team of four Soundmen, Mixer, Recordist, and Assistant roles.

My post entailed many different roles. I was also required to be a Sound Supervisor, Dubbing Engineer, Location Sound Recordist and Sound Assistant during both live and pre-recorded shows in studio, on Outside Broadcasts and outside pre-recorded programmes. I also assisted with the upkeep and maintenance of equipment used by the Sound Department.

Wedi sefyldu yn Caerdydd ac yn hapus iawn i thrafeulu. Dwi 'di bod yn gweithio ym maes sain i raglenni teledu ers mis Rhagfyr 2005 p​an wnes i ddechrau gyda chwmni teledu Tinopolis. Ar ôl tair blynedd symudais i GorillaGroup.tv fel Uwcharolygwr a Goruchwyliwr Sain ac roeddwn i yno am 7 mlynedd. Yn mis Mai 2015 gwnes i ddechrau fel person Sain llawrydd, yn gweithio i fy nghwmni fy hun, Elis Griffiths Cyf. Mae fy ngwaith yn cynnwys ffilm, rhaglenni byw ac wedi eu rhag-recordio i blant ac oedolion, comedi, drama, cwis, Sioe Amaethyddol, Chwaraeon, Crefydd a rhaglenni realaeth.

 

Work

I started as a Sound Person in December 2004 at Tinopolis in Llanelli and primarily work in Sound for Television. I worked as a Sound Supervisor for Gorillagroup.tv for 7 years after those first three years at Tinopolis. In May 2015 I started as a freelance sound person, working for my own company Elis Griffiths Cyf. I am Cardiff based, but also very happy to travel all over Wales and the UK and Beyond. I am happy working on all types of programming Documentary, Comedy, Sport, Drama, Game Shows, Magazine, Agricultural, Music, Religious and Reality shows, both live and pre-recorded.
